  • Water recreational facilities such as outdoor splash pads and wading pools, and all swimming pools;

  • Film and television production activities, with limits to enable physical distancing; and
  • Weddings and funerals, with limits on social gatherings to 10 people.
  • The Health Unit is reminding businesses to open only if they have proper infection prevention and control measures in place. Business owners and operators are encouraged to call the Health Unit at 1-800-563-2808 option 5, if they have questions about the requirements to reopen. Businesses are also encouraged to review the province’s guidance documents for additional guidelines for their sector.

    The Municipality is reviewing opportunities to implement Stage 2 access to more municipal facilities. While various services and facilities may be permitted to open on Friday, June 12th, the Municipality will need to conduct a thorough assessment of services and work with the local health unit to ensure that proper safety measures are in place to protect staff and residents.
